Oh dear, the Doctor badly misjudged Jack's mental state didn't he. Pretty soon, Jack is going to be feeling like the lowest form of life ever after what he's just done. Things aren't getting off to a very good start for our boys O_O

Everyone badly misjudged JAck's mental state. Ianto is in for a tough time trying to convince Jack who he is. Its a wild ride this one. Jack's the one whos in for a hard time this fic.

The Doctor really overestimated Jack's present capacity for rational thinking. Seven months is obviously nowhere enough time for him to recover. Everything that happened is too fresh in his mind yet. He's still an emotional basket-case and being faced with the realization of what he's just done isn't going to make it any easier on him.

There are times where it seems to me that the Doctor is still very judgmental of Jack's immortality. I saw that ep and I like very much where this is headed but the Doctor really needs a slap to the head to wake up to what Jack's been thru, and what poor Ianto has been thru. Jack seems to be borderline insane or close to a nervous breakdown ...

Love Ianto cursing him out in Welsh!

You'll see just how judgmental 10 is of Jack in a later chapter. Ianto under estimated just how much of an effect his death had on Jack despite what he was told.

I'll prolly go for nervous breakdown. Jack is definitely close to that.
