This was such a fantastic fic that I have to say that I, too, am in the sequel camp. However, while a lovingly detailed sequel that shows just how Gibbs would go about helping Tony would be (drooling) outstanding, I have to admit that I'd like to see where Tony's head is after his first time with Gibbs. Love this part:

“I guess.” Gibbs hated that even ten years on Tony didn't sound entirely convinced of it. “Alright, maybe, but even so, everybody has their own life. Away from the job. I don't. I got home tonight, and it was empty, and I was empty, and I stared into the silence, and I just needed to… feel. Something. Anything.”

Here's hoping that spins a wheel somewhere. Thanks again for a great fic!

Ooh. And here was I assuming eveybody was probably looking for what heppens when Ducky gives Tony a clean bill of health. Flipping around into's Tony's head hadn't ocurred to me (which is strange as I seem to spend a lot of my writing time there!). Hmmn. I'll have a think about that...

Hmm I'm thinking tender loving for the first part until Tony's wounds are all nicely healed up.

Then just a nice spanking for starters, because there is always the possibility that the wounds reopen if you whip someone too soon.

Hmmm and then...showing Tony's progress as Gibbs's sub.

And yes I had to use that icon again to get my point across xD

Well, the muses definitely like the icon...!

Now then - you're pushing me out of my comfort zone. But that's good, right?

Right?

Two comments in though, and we might be getting a hint of a picture emerging. Definitely thinking...!

The exact story will be up to you of course...but. What about them getting into the rules, details of their relationship, with each of them finding it hard to be honest about how much they want it.

Or future fic from either one's perspective, having them look back to *this* moment as the turning point in their relationship, and or lives, for better or worse.

Maybe Gibbs couldn't give Tony what he needed off the job, their relationship failed on the job, and they and the team broke apart. Maybe Gibbs gave Tony all he needed and both work and private relationships flourished.

JMHO, you did an awesome job for dipping your toe in the waters and I loved it.

I'm glad you liked it. As I mentioned to someone else a minute ago, I'm sliding out of my comfort zone here, which is a Scary Place! Everybody's seems to have loved this so much that I'd really like to do a sequel - I just need that spark to set it off.

I like that comment about them finding it hard to be honest. I think they were both laying it on the line so much in the first one it hadn't ocurred to me to take a step back again. And I do like my angst...!

I like the idea of them discussing the rules and their limits. And Gibbs seems to have a good grasp of some of Tony's limits. If the actual SM/Ds bothers you you can skate around it as you did in this fic. Which was excellent by the way. And rocked. And I would love to see a sequel to. Also nobody has ever explored wether Gibbs did this with Shannon. Or Jen. Or Stan. Ok, maybe Stan has been beaten into the ground.

Thank you very much! I'm getting lots of interesting ideas here, and I think a few things are beginning to slot into place. I suspect sequel may try and turn into sequels though! Oh well...

I agree with other posts about Tony & Gibbs' discussion, as well as seeing where Tony is emotionally/mentally. Definitely would like it to be a loving story; also I'd like to request that it isn't a 24/7 D/s relationship - given how fragile you've made Tony in the first story (hugs!) I don't like the idea of him losing himself into being a sub. Seems to me Gibbs would much rather use the relationship as a tool to 'fix' Tony (we all know how Gibbs loves a challenge/project) and make him more sure of himself and his place in Gibbs' life.

Ok; that's enough of my meddling lol. Looking forward to the sequel.

Mmm. I don't see it going 24/7 either. Loving is good, but apparently I can turn a dictionary angsty, so I suspect it may not be the smoothest of rides!

Iantalia Rule #9 - there can never be too much meddling where my fic is concerned!

I think angst is a given; these boys have never made things easy for themselves lol.

That's a good rule :)
