Sales numbers?

I just got my first royalty statement for The Presidential Book of Lists. And to forestall the questions: no, I'm not rich. No, the book didn't earn out the advance. Yes, the trade paperback sales were about what I was expecting

Ian, Wilder publications has 100 e-books. We average one sale per title per month. Sounds to me as if you did very well. It's a myth that e-books are the rage.

One other thing I forgot. I once had a kindle book sell two copies a day for two weeks. During that time the book was ranked 230 or so on the best sellers list. That is not a typo. two sales a day get's you that high. I imagine five or ten takes you to the top of the list.
