I declare 2007 the new 2005. I say this for one and only one reason, all the bands I was listening to in 2005 have released, or will be releasing, a new album in 2007 and this brings me all the way back to that magic time. I bet that show is going to be awesome... I wish it was not on a Tuesday so I could convince myself to go. It's going to be like the Decemberists show, where not going was the responsible thing to do but now even if I see them sometime in the future it won't be the Crane Wife tour.

Have you been to anything else in Ames yet? I also wish we got the better shows that Ames gets. Damn them! But I do like the M-shop a lot better than the Picador, so if I were going to play here or there, I would totally rather play there. It may be the one thing that's better about Ames.

Well, you should go before they break up again. And i'm faily sure they will break up again, or get famous enough to never come to Iowa ever again, so i'm fairly sure this will be your only chance to go.

Would you pass up the Beatles in their Abby Road tour? Okay, i'll never compare The Apples to the Beatles ever again, but common... They obviously want you to.
