winter landscape is lifeless at first glance
sit quite for an hour and you'll see or hear at least many of inhabitants all around

many small animals live under a thick blanket of snow
and birds sleeping in the snow too while not perching on trees
bigger ones travel across deep snow or snow free iced territory
