I really like this photo. I see logs just above and around the water. Is this a bridge?

'One up' means to show something just a little bit better than what the other person has shown or said. It's a friendly contest. You post your best picture of a tree, I'll post one 'I think' is better. Then you post one you think is even better than mine. It's always friendly and with respect.

thanks for detailed explanation
i've never seen it like this
'better' is not a good word for me in this context
'лучше чем пельмени' we have a saying ie 'better than ravioli'
i can see that i can shoot something better after some time or it looks like so to me
may be it is something to do with formal education denial
but two people making two identical images looks like nonsense to me
technically achieved but mentally ill

A week or two back you and I were teasing about who had better technology. You posted 'Russian children working on net cables' and I posted a photo saying that 'in the U.S.cats are trained to work on PC's' and I posted a silly photo of a cat inside a PC. That is friendly "one up" on you or "one upsmanship".

O so he protects us to go there? or does he protect the forest? or the both?
In the forest of Broceliande in France there is a Valley of No return where stand the gold tree( Merlin legend).
