He hasn't mentioned that he stopped off to put an angry spirit out of its misery on the way back from his two-day mini-roadtrip. He doesn't mention it because he doesn't want Cas to ask him why they didn't go together. Dean knows the answer will upset the other man, so instead he's bringing back supplies for what's going to be more freedom for Cas

It hadn't helped that he'd been stuck there alone either. With Dean disappearing off on some unknown task, Castiel had had no choice by to try and preoccupy himself. It'd only gotten harder as the hours went by. So when he first hears the sounds of Dean making his entrance, he's off the bed and practically at the door.
"What song?" The question is all but muffled by Dean's neck as Castiel wraps himself around the man, arms clinging tightly at his waist. He's a little more open about just how much he's missed Dean, and thankfully being in the room means he doesn't need to worry about keeping it hidden.

"I Don't Want To Miss A Thing." He only replies when he's managed to get a little more oxygen into his lungs, but it's enough to widen his smile. He's never quite managed to relate to the song until now.

"Are we leaving right now or can we..." He pulls back a little then, going for actions instead of words. He presses his lips to Dean's, the kiss almost greedy on his side. He's missed Dean far too much.

The lack of breath from earlier means that when he finally pulls back from the kiss he's breathless. It's yet another reason he doesn't say no, just leans back in for more of the same after a couple of much needed gasps of air.
