Question: Will they react unfavorable to either Sakon or Ukon finding out which twin is which? That's their shtick, anyway.

I try and try but I can't answer that question without asking a few of my own. D=

1. How long would Sakon and/or Ukon have known Hikaru and Kaoru, before they announce that they can tell them apart?

2. What would the reason be, that would be given when Hikaru and Kaoru ask for one?

I can say that yeah, pretty much the reaction will be unfavourable in that at the very least, Hikaru will be pissed because he can't do all the things he's used to. Worst case, Sakon and Ukon get shunned, labelled "stalkers", and pranks/rumours will start to appear.

Or, well, no, the worst case would be that someone knows who he is because they've offed Kaoru. Okay, okay, when I start thinking up scenarios like that you know I need sleep.

S'right.

1. To tell you the truth, Sakon and Ukon wouldn't go around telling people: "Homg, this one this Kaoru and this one is Hikaru!" because they just aren't like that. If anything, they'd just tell them apart in conversations with them, and even then, lol, they're twins so they get where the pair is coming from. I imagine it'd be a few months in-game before they're anywhere near friendly enough, though -- Sakon and Ukon don't open up to people very quickly.

2. If asked to explain how, I guess Sakon would be more scientific about it and notice that Hikaru is more hot-tempered than his brother, or that Kaoru wasn't the one behind the majority of their pranks? Ukon wouldn't explain himself, though. He'd notice the hair difference and just say: "Because I do know."

Being labeled stalkers would be hilarious, though.

Well, if it gets pointed out that Hikaru's fuse is shorter than Kaoru's, he's going to sulk. Pranks usually get pulled together, though, so the second reason would probably just get laughed at.

XD Ukon would get labelled as a creepy stalker, if he offered no reason. With the hair - if the twins are playing the game, the hair is the least safe option to go with. In normal conversation, it's how they'd be identified, but if they're testing to see if someone can tell them apart, hair means zilch. They'd switch parts, if there was no way to cover them, or mess up their hair so that no real parting can be found.
