I was surprised the mistletoe still made its appearance like it did last year, considering what happened.

I know I haven't -- I only know that the majority of them are hostile and that they're almost everywhere you can think of in the city.

Ah, I wasn't present last year. What did happen?

The fact that they're hostile doesn't surprise me but at least they won't be difficult to find.

No, I meant that the mistletoe appeared last year but I thought they wouldn't this year. Or I at least I hoped they wouldn't.

Yeah.

I see. But this city is apparently bent on going against everyone's hopes.

It makes things convenient for me, even if I imagine that I'd need assistance with acquiring specimens, should I go ahead with any sort of research...

A lot to ask for considering the mere idea behind presents is that one has to be "good" the year round. I hardly think that applies to you.

I never got the impression that Discedo was the sort of place to care.

Well then, they'll just keep going in circles at this rate. click_reload December 25 2010, 22:18:32 UTC
I'd like to think this poor judgment Discedo seems to have wouldn't extend as far supplying you with some of the things on that list of yours. [She's eyeing that "lab equipment" on that list specifically.]

Now, Jill, not everything I do has an utterly evil motive behind it. As I said, I'm interested in research which could benefit others in the city.

Are you talking about dissection?

Yes. Hopefully something more complex than the cliche frog in biology lab.

What would you need to do it?

What one would expect, I suppose. A sterile environment might be a little too much to ask for - unless the hospital is willing to donate a room or two, which I doubt. Scalpel, forceps, preferably in various sizes, dissecting needles, pins, scissors, syringes or pipettes or whatever method available for draining. A camera would be welcome as well as a microscope though my hopes for the latter are not exactly high. Indeed, I'd take whatever I can get.

Depends on the type of monster. If you're talking about dissection... yeah, but they've been subtracted since.

Taken away, you mean? And no records left of it?

Yes. Pretty positive the monster dissected was eradicated anyway.

Then I won't worry too much about that for now. I'm sure there are plenty of other potential specimens as it is.
