I really adored this. My favorite part - to echo other commenters - was probably Mikey, because your characterisation of him was pretty much pitch-perfect. I really enjoyed, also, how you put Brian together in Gerard's eyes - that slow slide into attraction was so realistic. Frank and Jamia were also wonderful - Gerard sits near the fire escape because it's only a matter of time before Frank blows something up in chemistry trying to impress Jamia! Frank's dressed as Frankenstein! Jamia likes him anyway!

It hurt a little bit, as well - Mikey's plaintiveness over the fact he has a gym partner now and doesn't want Gerard to ruin it, that wonderful scene during which Brian and Gerard confess to being gay in the history class (I caught my breath, I really did, that was so excellently observed).

Also have to mention Mikey over the intercom, and the whole last scene - that was a really wonderful take on the video canon. ♥
