“I’m never eating meat again,” Dean said, steeling himself for Sam’s reaction.
Sam’s jaw dropped, like Dean had announced he hated sex or wanted to become a monk or something.
“Dean … What?”
“I can’t, dude. That cow looked so freakin’ sad, like it knew I wanted to grill its ass, slap it on a bun, and eat it.” His hands clenched. “Never again, Sam. Never -- ”
Dean jerked awake in bed, nightmare and thank God practically rear-ending each other in his brain.
At lunch, he ate three burgers. With bacon.
The indigestion two hours later? Totally worth it.
