When Sam woke, Dean was standing next to his hospital bed, grinning.
Crap. Sam knew that grin.
“What did you do?” Sam checked the casts on his arms. Still pristine white.
“Dude,” Dean scoffed. “Casts are amateur stuff.”
“Dean. What. Did. You. Do?”
A smirk, and then the door swung open and the day nurse walked in, only to stop abruptly, eyes wide and locked on Sam.
Dean snickered. “Gotta go. Later, Sammy.”
As the door shut, the nurse smiled awkwardly. “I um … I’ve never seen that color eyeshadow before. It looks great, though. It’s really … flattering.”
“Dean!”
