omg the magic pudding. i used to hide that book in the cupboard, underneath a stack of jumpers and stuff. freaked me OUT!

I have to admit that I'm not really familiar with it; we never owned a copy when I was young. But the whole idea is a bit creepy, to think about it.

Oh, shopping for books! I love shopping for books. I really don't get to do it enough. :)

It's the fun of shopping on someone else's dime that's good, too. I very rarely have enough of my own cash to really buy a lot of books I want, all at once. I was able to get a few on my birthday a few months back, that was awesome.

My mother's a librarian at a primary school, so she's not a stranger to buying books herself, but I don't think she knew where to start888rdc`
