Same title, much better song, and manages to be funny without being insulting or resorting to stereotypical 'sex sells' marketing.

Those of you who've seen But I'm a Cheerleader will probably love the video, too. The style is very similar (1950's morals in plastic, cardboard and Barbie pink). Oh, and ROFL at who she thinks she can 'do better' ( Read more... )

We ordered our copy on video about five years ago from the USA, because we couldn't get it out here and the DVD was really expensive.

*loves that film so much*

I haven't seen that video in awhile, thanks for putting it up.

I also like Nut I'm A Cheerleader but, again, haven't seen it awhile.

Yeah, me neither. I knew the song, but hadn't seen the video, and when I did, I couldn't not link to it! It's so cute, especially for those who've seen But I'm a Cheerleader, and can see the similarities.

I have to watch it again too. It's been far too long since Emma and I had a good queer-a-thon.

I was talking to my best friend about Katy Perry yesterday and he said "is she the one that sings the song where Fabio is in the music video?" :o) I told him "Um...not so much."

Gawd, that song takes me back a ways. And I LOVE I'm a cheerleader. What a fabulous cast. And how great was Cathy Moriarty in that?

That and Soap Dish.

Cathy Moriarty was frighteningly good in that. She's up there with Imelda Staunton's Umbridge, IMHO. They share the same love of kitsch and Barbie pink!

Haven't seen Soapdish, but the cast list looks good.
