That challenge has indeed been accepted. I owe an update for this one before WFTC, so I started writing it yesterday (would have earlier but I've had schoolwork out the kazoo for the last three weeks, and I kind of still do but I stopped caring, the bad student I am).

Hopefully I'll have it finished by the end of today. If not, definitely in the next few days.

Oooh awesome fic so far! I had a similar idea a few days ago about a confrontation at the school resulting in Rachel being injured, but the jerk in question for my story is Karofsky instead of Finn.

That coincidence aside, I just had to post to this and say that I really enjoyed what you wrote so far. The characterization of the gleeks plus Blaine was nicely done (I think Blaine has the potential to be a good friend to Kurt and more cast members) and your portrayal of Noah is equally fantastic. Keep up the great work, and I hope to see more soon :)

I'm traditionally an angst writer. The rest of this so far isn't really angsty, but there will be a few chapters based mostly on Rachel's dealing with Finn. Mostly it winds up being humour.
