im reading a book about lepers in hawaii right now called Molokai. I have considered hawaii at several points in my life,...;

is the book good? I've been meaning to purchase a film called the house is black made by my favorite persian poet, forough farrokhzad, during her time spent at a leper colony in iran.

i regret not applying for a residency position at an exotic locale (or even nyc), but i'm sure being so close to the fam for a year will have been worth it. xoxo
