Rock Band Camp, Day 1

Kate completed her first day of Rock Band Camp. She was so excited and nervous about it that she woke up three hours early. I dropped her off at 9am and picked her up at 2pm, hoping that everything was as fun as she'd been hoping

I am jealous, both of Kate for getting to go to Rock Band camp and of her fellow campers (rockers? band members?) for getting to know an awesome girl at their age.

And so begins Kate's no doubt lifelong blindsiding of male expectations:)

And right on for drummers! Especially girl drummers! Especially classic rock girl drummers!

Tell her to try and get them to do "Rock & Roll" by Led Zeppelin. That's a great one for drummers.
