Oh ho! You can't use "don't play the system" as an excuse on this one. The Pirate's Guide to Freeport is systemless! :) It is a pure setting book, unencumbered by game rules of any kind.

As we say on the back cover: Pick you game * Add Freeport * Enjoy!

We aim to please. I hope the game community embraces the systemless book. We're producing some companion system-specific products to do with it later (like a True20 companion book that stats all the stuff in True20 format, D20, a few others that I don't know if we've finalized yet) for people who don't want to do the work themselves.
