I don't know how, or why, but I was, at one point, in the possession of a mix CD that had some live version of "I Want You To Want Me" on it. I remember the crowd screaming back "Cryin! Cryin! Cryin!". It might have been the Budoken version - "Are you ready, Tokyo" plucks some familiar chord within me. At this point in my life I'd say that song wasn't so bad, but when I first heard it I would have said it was amazing, maybe embarrassed to admit how thoroughly relatable it was. It's not cool to be the one wanting, is it?

But in terms of great - great was "My So-Called Life". Did you like the show, or just the soundtrack? To be honest, I had no idea Cheap Trick had anything to do with the show.

I don't think that Cheap Trick did have any involvement. I did like that show though. I use the title in reference to my so-called life. I suppose the word soundtrack made that even more confusing?
