I love these pictures. You have such talent.

Sorry to hear about the class, though.

I failed intro to Japanese at my first university in first year, and I failed by 2%. I know it's mostly my fault (I missed a major test due to a wisdom tooth extraction and wasn't able to get a note from my dentist on time because he went on vacation), but the professor was really insufferable. Over 90% of the kids in class were Chinese ESL students who already knew all the characters and their meanings and only needed to learn the new pronunciations and vocabulary, while I and two other students who were actually entirely new to the writing system struggled the entire semester, and eventually all failed.
It's not a good feeling definitely. But it also doesn't define you or your intelligence. Maybe some decisions were poorly made, but you are not your failing grade, and I hope you can remember that. Look at how good you are at photography! I love your work. You have your own style, and that's fantastic. I am always so pleased with what I see in your journal, and we are all rooting for you :D

Aww Petrija! thanks! sucks to hear about your japanese class, it is hard enough to learn a language that shares your alphabet, it's harder a completely new language.

And thank you for your nice words as always :D

Thanks! :D
Yea, i really don't know how media handles the news about the situation here but let me tell you, at least in my city you won't see anything related to the drug wars in the news because mostly, all tv chains or news anchors are afraid of being killed, so, i suppose that while they might exagerate some things a bit, the news where you are might be more accurate than what most people imagine.
