Brandon has been really reserved lately... his depression is worse than ever. i don't know what to do. he crys and our sex life is bad. i just want to be there for him, but i can't. i feel helpless. when he gets like this, all i can do is lay there and hold him. nothing helps. Hi Morgan, I've added you back. I've also added you to my TMI filter, which is mainly about trans sex (especially from my FTM perspective) issues, so I thought that if you want to, you are most welcome to read, and share any entries with Brandon. Either of you are also both welcome to email or IM me (I have AOL still installed, but if that's all you use message me and I'll put it back into 'boot up all the time' mode, otherwise I have msn and yahoo. I know a lot of what he's going through, if you read bits of all 3 of my Lj's (linked to the one you found), I came out FTM just after I started the first LJ, when I was about 43, I'm 48 now, and have been on T for 2 1/2 years, had chest surgery a bit over a year ago, all I have left to do is have a hysto when my private health insurance for 'pre existing' conditions kicks in (soon, then I can start organising it ( ... )

Thank you so much for adding me. It's really a pleasure to be able to have someone to talk about everything and your experiences help. It's great to read about what others have gone through. I'm sure i will be asking for your advice or insight. like right now for instance, how much do you know about binding? whats the best way to do it? He really wants to and i, well, have heard alot of horror stories. i don't want to tell him not to, and wouldn't, but i don't want him hurting himself, you know? any suggestions?

Hi, glad I can help. Binding is complicated, mainly because the advice on how depends on the guy's size (pre op I was HUGE), but having been binding on and off for 20 years didn't affect my surgery at all (neither did having breastfed 2 kids).
