Magnesium is the latest trace element I've had suggested for cramps. None of the suggestions work for me, because the pains are from nerve impingement in the L4-S1 area. I'm trying to work out more. Not what I'd call fun or even enjoyable, but after the first 10 minutes, I can move for about half an hour before the cramps set in again.
