It so happens that I spent twenty minutes trying to get to sleep while the smutty sequel played out in my head. Eventually, thoroughly annoyed, I got up and transcribed the proceedings in hopes that they'd leave me alone to sleep. So, uh, if people are at all interested I can post it, I guess.

(and then people can rec it to EVERYONE THEY KNOW who writes comics fic and we can spread the pairing like swine flu.)

The UST here is great. So's the parallelism/competition between Matt/Danny. And I second what someone else said--there needs to be more Matt/Danny, and yeah, you should post this to the comms.

Aww this fic is wonderful and I second/third the desire for a smutty sequel. There really ought to be more fic for this two out there.

Thank you so much. There, uh, is a smutty sequel posted, but hell if I'm putting that on communities. If you go to my journal it's the second entry down. But yeah, I really wish this pairing were more commonplace.

Oh, this is great! I read the sequel first, and they're very different stories, but they're both excellent. I love how you describe all the superhero action -- it's not an easy thing to do, and something you rarely see in fic, even though it makes up so much of the canon. Lovely work.

Thank you! Yeah, they are, ah, quite different. I think the superhero action is something I really miss in fic -- it's really hard to write, though, like you said. I needed to practice it for my NaNo novel, though, so it seemed like a good opportunity.
