Thank you, that was lovely. *____*

...I tend to prefer subtext anyway, somewhat more than half the time. So, win/win!

Oh, Topher. -- I'm sitting here trying add something more coherent and it's not happening. Suffice it to say that this feels very right.

(And that is indeed the appropriate pronoun.)

You're very welcome! :D

You know, I'm a big fan of subtext, too. Not only is it lots and lots of fun, but it makes me feel clever when I spot it.

Well, I'm glad. Thanks! I'm not particularly experienced in this fandom yet.

(Awesome. I never want to assume, because I'm not female, and I know how annoying it can be when people refer to me as 'she'.)

So true. I don't think there is a functional, stable character on the show. Not that I'd expect anything less from Joss "Chronic Ambivalence" Whedon, mind.

I did not realize you wrote this until I actually began to read it. Aw, Topher.

"blank and smiling and better"

Liked that.

I find it vaguely unsettling and somewhat gratifying that I have a recognisable writing style.

Thanks!

I'm probably missing some wonderful nuances because I'm only two episodes in, but... this is really great! I love it!

Actually, probably not. Unless it was unintentional, which has admittedly happened before. Still, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks!
