Aww... "He doesn't dream often... Sometimes after too many such nights Fai begins to see things that are not there, to turn around and expect to find a third, or perhaps even a fourth person behind him. It's not a hallucination, though from time to time Fai will also hallucinate as well."
I love that part. I think, although the whole thing is melancholy and somewhat sad, that was the most quitetly tragic part. See, now, we've had gen and mild-angst gen. Next we need mild-fluff gen. It'll be a good writing exercise for you. Kay? Kay.
Yea! I was hoping you would expand on this ficVerse. Fai taking care of Syaoran when his is sick and beinf forced to admit an attachment was so sweet (in a mildly Fai!angst kind of way). You do gen family fic so well I can't get enough of it. :) I hope this is continued, Fai's 'hallucinations' need to become real. :)
Also this line just rings so true. Fai likes to ignore the inevitable instead of fearing it.
:D I'm all excited about it now. I was always meaning to write more, but I kinda stopped writing fic all summer...:/ I think I'm back now, though. Poor Fai. He kinda got no say in the matter at all, but I think in the long run he's better off with Syaoran than without. X3 Thank you! I love gen family fic so much. There needs to be more in the world. (And yes, there should be more. Eventually.)

The thing about writing Fai is that is kinda does have to be mild-angst at least. But yeah, I think you're right.
And I suppose I'll have to. Damn fluff. what, the first one wasn't fluffy enough? It's only for you that I'll do it.
