Don't hate him. Feel sorry for him. It must suck to be that angry all the time. Having now been to NYC, I think I begin to understand on a very visceral level why Jon cried. Of course no one deserves to have such a blatant, cowardly and inhumane thing happen to their city. Especially one as welcoming and heartwarming as NYC. New Yorkers are so lovely, and if John Gibson can't see that, then he's not a real American. Or a human, for that matter.

NYC, as far as I'm concerned, is the Real America.
