I found the poster child for bad gas station etiquette

Dad got gas on the way home from the grocery store last night. We pulled into the lot behind someone who ended up going to the pump directly in front of ours (as in, when we saw him go over there--few pumps were open--we hoped he'd pull forward so we wouldn't have to go around him). Oh, they can shut off the pump if it's necessary. The trick is, the person at the register has to realize that the car is still running before doing so. If he's busy, he might not realize what some idiot outside is doing.

And of course, when the cashier does shut down the pump, even after giving the person multiple warnings, the idiot always thinks that somehow it's the cashier who has done something wrong.
