Pluots: A cross between a plum and an apricot. We picked up a bag of dried pluots from Sam's the other day. I think they're actually more effective than dried plums, if you get what I mean. FYI.
Heh. Well, sometimes people DO need a little help there... Taste-wise, they're like those random little bits of dried fruit you find in trail mix or what have you. When concentrated, the apricot must stand out. I've had regular pluots and not had an issue, and also didn't realize they were plum-apricots. The descriptions usually called them "dinosaur eggs" or something similar.
