I think I've mentioned that I have a little notebook where I jot down notes about what I want to put here. Some of those ideas never made it to full posts, but I can't let them go to waste

But of course. It doesn't help that ABC Family is premiering the movie next Sunday. It was a good movie, but we were both totally blubbering by the end of it.
That reminds me of this amazing book I just read called "Elsewhere"... it actually was an uplifting, positive ending, but I just totally ended up weeping through the last 20 pages. I gave it to my mom to read, as I loved it SO much, and she did the same thing.
Given the current situation though, I'm especially glad to have read the book... it's about a teenage girl who is hit by a car while biking to the mall. She wakes up on this weird cruise ship and doesn't remember what happened and ends up in this heaven/afterworld type place called "elsewhere" where everyone goes when they die. They live their lives backwards from where they were when they died, taking up an avocation, ocassionally (or more for some people) checking in on their loved ones on earth, etc. When they reach baby-hood again, they're sent back down to earth to start a totally new life. No matter your beliefs about death/god/etc. it was a really sweet story.
