Texas pictures: Done!

Sep 06, 2015 21:21

At least today wasn't a total bummer. I spent part of it working on the final day of Texas pictures, and they are now all uploaded--482 in all. I'm not sure how I thought I took 800 pictures. Well, it was still a lot. All that stands in the way of uploading my camp pictures are two measly flower pictures. Well, that and getting them all labeled. Pish-tosh.

Now, not all of them are visible, but there are some interesting ones of the public pictures. I'll present a few of them here.

In case anyone thought I was kidding about where I went.

Me in the courtyard of the hotel. THERE ARE PALM TREES!

The Alamo, or the part of the Alamo that is the most recognizable. I wish I'd taken it less crooked, seeing as this was the only shot I took of the main part of it. Oh well.

The Menger Hotel. It was huge. The Alamo is off to the far left of the building (not visible here).

The glowing horse carriages. I also wish I'd gotten better, less blurry, pictures of these; they were pretty cool.

One of the many boats touring the Riverwalk.

The cool luggage sculpture in the entrance to the San Antonio International Airport.

We flew through rain on the way home, which didn't surprise me seeing as I saw this about halfway through the flight.

The love note from the TSA. I wasn't kidding when I said I got one.
