It was at that moment that Tandy decided that she didn't like this kid one bit.

How was he supposed to know that she was going to follow him? Robin scowled. Of all the times to be mistaken for some thief....!

"You've got the wrong guy," He huffed. "I'm on your side!"

Never before had Tandy been so thankful for her years of ballet as she maneuvered the fire escapes and leaps across the roof tops. But of the kid? She had to wonder if he was part cat.

"Why did you steal that device then? You sure cut out of there quick."

"Do you even know what that device was?" He retorted, backflipping past a sign. Amazingly, he could talk even as he performed great aerobatic feats. "If it gets into the wrong hands, like... oh, I don't know, that other lady's, then we're in trouble."

He trailed off - though he was still running towards a safehouse, "Why am I even explaining myself to you? Tt!"

Okay. This kid was pissing her off.

Tandy swung around the sign using the gracefulness she'd developed through the years of vigilante-ism. "You know, I'd find myself believing you...maybe...if you hadn't robbed that defenseless woman blind!"

Robin laughed as he used pressure points to stun two more ninjas, "Told you so."

She was pretty good - and wasn't she some kind of meta, if the data in Batman's files were correct? One managed to punch his stomach; Robin staggered back before launching forward and kicking the final ninja against a wall. He growled, "Now do you believe me?"

"Don't rub it --ngh!-- in!" she tossed more light daggers from her fingertips, throwing a high-bar kick to the chest of one ninja, then back-springing to blind the nin behind her. He went down like a rock, shaking as his entire life flashed before his eyes.

"And yes -- hyaa!" she knocked one of the dazed nins away from her. "I'm starting to see the light in you."

One of her infamous light puns.

Ya Allah, the light puns! Robin made a face as he dug his claws into the ninja's skin. The enemy growled, but he was thankfully down and out for the count. Successfully tying rope around the ones that he could, Robin sighed, "Like I haven't heard that one before."

(Hey, his mom was Noor the Light. Come on, he heard that every night at dinner.)

Dagger threw a punch that knocked the lights of another ninja. It was like they were coming out of the rafters! "And what is that supposed to mean?"

One or two ninjas started to have a change of heart.
