i feel you. i love traveling alone. it's when i feel safest and i won't be violated by boosterous drunk mountaineers' senseless vhattering. walking alone is when i purge new ideas.
traveling alone is both a form of therapy and some kind of drug for me. i'm almost always fully charged after a unique experience swimming in the ocean of my own thoughts. thanks for reading!
Wow, this is a great read sir. I was actually looking for for Bakun articles that might help me in planning my first solo travel there, then I saw this work. You're narrative about your adventure there motivated me. In your opinion sir, is it okay for a female to visit Bakun alone? I'm thinking of hiking Mt Kabunian, see Mangta Falls and hopefully Ampusongan River, even just a short walk by the river. I'm just hesitant if it would be advisable for a female solo travel.
Hi. I think Bakun is a safe place even for a solo female traveller. The guides are respectful and very helpful. I won't suggest going alone. Always have someone else with you, like a companion or even a guide. There are also female guides if I'm not mistaken. Thanks and good luck!
