Dream climb indeed! And I appreciated all the forest photos a lot. Hoping to go to 2300 masl Lake Venado for biodiversity assessment someday. Did you see a lot of critters near the summit?

Good luck on your survey. Hope it happens soon. We didn't stay too long in Venado to notice any critters but I'm sure there are because I noticed a mountain rat and some lizards in some of the uninhabited campsites.
