2) Idiot documentaries that assume you haven't seen or retained anything before the last commerical break, and waste achingly long minutes recapping the things they explained in great detail not five minutes earlier. And they do this after every single break. It's like one of those "

This bugs the hell out of me, too. Though I am perhaps somewhat less mild-mannered than you are, and will not comment on my wearing of underwear, over or under my trousers. They started doing it on property programmes (one of my not-so-secret vices), of all things. AND giving you a sneak peak of what's in the next segment before they go off on the break, so when the real thing comes around, you get deja vu. Insulting, indeed.

Yes, that's very annoying. I realise it's supposed to keep you watching, but frankly if you didn't enjoy what you just watched, a preview of part 2 is hardly going to stop you channel-hopping!
