I watched "City of Death" for the second time last year: it's a real cracker.

City of Death is the one I show people when they moan about all the rushing around holding Rose's hand in the first few seasons. Basically all the Paris stuff is Tom and Lalla on honeymoon. Its also interesting to note that this is essentially a two companion piece with the really rather wonderful Duggan in there. Its probably the story from classic that has most in common with the modern era and really brings home that it *totally* is *the same show*.

Yes, if you take 70s Who as a whole. Very definitely not as far as Season 14 is concerned.

Good point. To be honest I've been jumping around so much with these DVD releases that I'd lost track of which season it was from. My Who knowledge is much less encyclopedic than it was 20 years ago. :-)
