1.) He won't be back, I'd imagine. He knows you'll have marked him and called the police and is smart enough to avoid your place. Still, feeling creeped-out is pretty normal. I feel creeped-out just reading it.

2.) Shops at Chavs R Us, basically.

I applaud your ability to be funny in the midst of strain.

Thanks. We had the Scene of Crime forensics woman around this morning fingerprinting the back door, so I was edjumakating our daughter in CSI.

Yes, horrible experience for you but he won't be back. Well done for chasing him off so efficiently. I hope there was nothing too valuable in the briefcase.

Thanks. Nothing valuable but some important work in it including mildly confidential stuff. Particulalry annoying is detailed notes of a 2 hour meeting that will be a bugger to piece back together.

Nasty - I'm v glad we were out when we were burgled, however horrible it was to come back and find the place ransacked.

Can they get prints off the bike?

The Scene of Crime woman who dusted the back door this morning was on her way to dust the bike for prints. Fingers crossed!

That must have been quite an alarming experience, I'm glad nobody was hurt and nothing too valuable was stolen.
