This is fascinating, I had no idea such things existed. This would be perfect for my parents (I'd like one too I've only got a balcony.)

Does it just have a SCART on the end? And it plugs straight in?

It's got yellow/white video/audio jacks, but there's a scart adapter. We've got audio/video sockets on the front of the DVD recorder, so I've just plugged it straight in there.
