I didn't quite finish labelling all of my books yesterday, much less get around to anything else. I would have thought this curse would lead to more fighting, especially where people were labelling each other, but I can't say I noticed that happening. I only learned it at the nursery school, because the permanent marker never seems to stick to the bottles.

Well, then it should just wipe off, actually. If that doesn't work, you might try a moist handkerchief that is just not quite wet, and make sure to dry the blade off afterward.

For books and things, perhaps, but I think that loved ones deserve much more thought put into their labels than simply 'property of so-and-so.'
