Looked at LJ on a whim b/c I hadn't for a while, and saw an entry that suggested livejournal may close

According to another source, LJ are likely to continue with a smaller staff force, based entirely in their offices in Moscow. I don't expect it to disappear anytime soon (although I've backed up my journal just in case).

I'm glad to hear things are going OK for you at the moment. Perhaps I'll read some more entries of yours soon - I hope so.
