I found a copy of John Knowles' A SEPARATE PEACE in a Free Books box a few weeks ago. Something I'd been interested in reading for a while, but didn't really know anything about. I may be about 15 years late to the game but....

lol, you know, I read this novel back in 99, when I was still in HS, and it traumatized me so badly, that I couldn't read for a few months!!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the novel, finished it in a day's time, but the ending... oh god, how I hated the ending!! I would have been happy without it.
