I could help ya out. [Not like he's got anything better to do...] Told Molly I would, anyways.

... Did she draft the entire family?

[He'll give Raph some paper and pencils.] Here. Don't tell Mike I stole his paper again.

[He shrugs and accepts the materials.] I offered.

So what do you want me to do?

Eventually? Carry heavy things.

But we're not constructing anything until the weather warms up, so for now you can draw me pictures. Be creative.

Well, I promised to provide parts, so when you figure things out, let me know.

Um... okay.

[He thought he'd made it clear that he was only in the drafting stages, but if this guy wants to jump ahead to materials acquisition, that's his prerogative...]

Great. Glad that's settled. I'm Sokka, so whenever you need to put your order in, just drop by the smithy.

[Ah!] Oh, the smithy. Yes. I'll definitely be over there when I get my parts list in order.

Make it pretty big, and expect a pretty high usage load. As for features, that doesn't really matter, as long as it'll be fun. [If she were a polite kid, she'd thank him.]

[Fun? A subjective concept.] Big. High traffic. Fun. Noted.

Awesome. I'll be looking forward to it, Mr. Turtle.

Superb plan! It really is a shame my crew's shipwright isn't here - he's well suited for just these kinds of tasks and would probably come up with something far more inventive than what I'm thinking of.

Are you planning on making a swing? We have one of those on our ship. [Naturally it's the first thing he thinks of then. And oh yeah - hi. 'Sup. Nice to meet you.]

Oh, really? ... I imagine you don't have your ship here, though. What with there not being any water...

Do you know anything about the relative merits of tire swings versus plank-seats?

Bah, so sorry. My notifs fail sometimes. skulljokelol March 10 2010, 01:08:05 UTC
Unfortunately no - there is a lake, of course, but you won't find the Thousand Sunny sailing on it!

[Pause. That's a funny way to phrase things] Yohohoho! Personally, I do enjoy the simplicity of the plank-seat. I think it's far easier for people of various sizes to use than a tire swing.

Good point! I'm told that children of different sizes will be using the playground.

[ Usopp sees an opportunity to chatter at someone even though it's hardly detectable. And he never misses out on said opportunities or is it just that he never shuts up to begin with. ]

So you're going to be helping out, too?

Hi, Usopp. Yes, apparently I'm going to be helping. Did Molly draft you too?

I volunteered to help build things. They really should have thought about doing something like this a long time ago, there are a lot of kids around here.

Are there? I've mostly met adults. Or at least older kids...
