(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is another in my series of "mythfics", to borrow the term from my darling

WHO ARE YOU?
This is so, so, so good. I'm in love with how rich and complicated this is and how always, always the family dynamic is the center of this all, big or small. (AND can I just say I want to read more and more about Zeus and Hera and Athena and Zeus and just everything.) And the conversations on the phone! And and:
Every so often, when they were sitting at a bar with a huge plate of nachos, she tried to imagine him at one of her mother’s gala parties. She would have to cover her inexplicable smiles from him as she pushed away the images of him breaking open a lobster shell with his bare hands, or downing an entire glass of champagne in one swallow, or tucking his napkin into his collar, or calling a foreign dignitary ‘buddy’.
MY HANDS YOU KNOW.

“I doubt it’ll be that boring,” he said with assurance.
“Oh?”
“Sure. I’ll be with you, won’t I?”
“...Oh, Perseus.”

Oh, Angie. I know I normally leave much longer reviews than this, but I just-- I was too busy enjoying the fuck out of this story. I am so excited for the next part, you don't even know.
