Okay. I have noted in the past (I think) that my work environment has the occasional sprinkle of religion. Not much, and not in a hostile way-- most of it is limited to co-worker discussions about their church groups or a prayer before an office pot-luck. Most of my office is Christian. I have said that sometimes this makes an uncomfortable

I know the feeling, I have that a lot - living in a small town. Kiwanis also has a religious element to it. Every meeting begins with a prayer. I just bow my head out of respect but keep my mouth shut. I say my pledge and sing the song (quite often God Bless America). Since I am not currently a practising anything it isn't a big deal. When and if it ever does come up I just go with "I'm a none of the above". There is usually no further conversation.

I tend to judge how out I'm going to be by the people at my job. At US Chess and Fredericks, I was completely out: poly, bi, pagan, the whole shebang. Then again, I was working with a bunch of liberals who thought it was endlessly interesting and wanted to know more about it

I like to think that all us Pagans would be totally open all the time and take a stand no matter what the cost. But pragmatically, each of us has to use our best judgment-- in the end only you can decide how open you are comfortable being

How comfortable do you feel telling them that they
are making you feel uncomfortable about discussing
religion at all, and you'd prefer that everyone
just keep their own beliefs to themselves from
now on (including you - since you've obviously
already made some slight comments (since they know
about ambug666))?

It's a suggestion that *should* work....
