YAAAY!

Robbie and I saw NIN at the Forum last night. True, I wasn't too excited for it beforehand because I'd forgotten about The Slip, and when I heard it again I wasn't as impressed as I originally was. Also, I didn't know about the show until Wednesday, so it was kind of last minute. But once we were actually there, I really was pumped ( Read more... )

MOTHER OF SHITSON. I just watched the Watchmen trailer for the first time now that I've made some good progress reading it and I figured it wouldn't spoil me. OH MY GOD. I got so many shivers I looked like I was having a seizure. I can't believe how amazing it looks.

I KNOW, RIGHT?!?!

omg

If nothing else, it will LOOK fantastic. 300 looked just like the graphic novel, so I have complete faith in this movie's looks. That trailer + the music they chose (which, by the way is AWESOME. I'm glad they used it because as much as I love the Smashing Pumpkins, that song was on the Batman & Robin soundtrack, which I was never ever going to touch) sold me on reading Watchmen. Yaaaay, impulses!

I'm glad you liked NiN! I went to a concert at the beginning of August and the light show was amazing :D

It was sooo cool! I liked all the light screens and such much better than just the flashing lights on stage. But, like I said, that was mostly because I felt they were kind of seizure inducing. The screens were cool, I loved them so much!

You didn't? Awww! I thought he'd be doing that all over the place, it being an election year. But then I think the last time I saw him, Bush's picture was put up during "Right Where It Belongs," along with other depressing imagery.

It was hilarious :D and pretty much the only thing he said to us besides introducing the band and thanking us for coming. OH and he also contemplated the encore songs: "Hmm... what to play next. Something happy or something sad and depressing?"

he really didn't say anything to our audience. just the typical "you've been a great crowd....."

Aww. Well, I didn't think he was going to say anything at all, and then suddenly a few songs before the break he just spoke up out of nowhere. He's not a chatterbox anyway.
