OMG! I JUST CAME UP WITH THE BEST IDEA FOR A SCARF EVER!!!

It will be my Christmas break project (fuck studying!!), after which I hope SB will be cold enough for me to wear it around. Because I will be so proud. All I have to do is learn to knit with two colors/incorporate a design with one different color into the scarf, and make a pattern for it

Knitting with two colors (dunno if you mean at a time, or alternating like stripes) are both really simple, so no worries there. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the "incorporating a design" part, because there are two different ways to do it, but the way that I've done is totally easy too.

In short: YEAH YOU GOT IT!! (Also: knittinghelp.com is pretty much the BEST place for learning how to do stuff that confuses you, because it shows you videos, rather than crappy sketches of what you should technically be doing.)

I found that site after I posted this entry and thought, "damn, I made no sense." But yeah, the videos are amazing!! The Intarsia method video was awesome because that's most likely what I'll end up using. It was so clear and helpful!

But yeah, thanks for the reassurance. It's always good to have someone you know tell you something is simple, as opposed to a pair of hands. hahaha. ;D
