You were a really well behaved child, better than most I've worked with. A bit timid at first, but otherwise you were fine.

That's a relief... still, I apologize, Kabuto-san. I know you meant well.

You have no reason to apologize. I assisted my master in watching after some children, so you were a breeze to be around, Yukina-san.

Well, I'm glad I didn't cause you too much trouble...

Well said. The words humans use for us do not define us.

You're a very cute little girl.

It's just a little odd to see how astonished they get when they learn what I am.

.......... I was a very STRANGE little girl.

*cynical smile* That's one issue I don't have, since it's immediately obvious that I'm not human.

I didn't think you were that strange.

.... *softly* I don't see why that should matter.

Most Koorime children don't willingly trust males.

Demon or not, you're still my friend, Yukina~.

*awwww, smiling at you* And I'm grateful for that, Kero-san.

Why should it matter what kind of being you are as long as you're being yourself in a good way, right~?

Mm! That's all that should matter.

Does all that stuff really make that much of a difference to people...?

So unforgiving! Don't worry about it!

Unfortunately so!

Nma, I guess we'll always start some kind of trouble with those who aren't like us. Some called my old master a "monster" as well... -Although he was at least noticeably different from a human. I still haven't really figured out any major differences between us...

Kukuu~ -You were an interesting child, by the way.

.... I was? *orz*

... How very honest...

But... when it comes down to it, what matters is the person, and not the specie. *slightly!conflicted smile~*

That's assuming people take the time to get to know said person, Kaworu-san.

That's true. If they would only give it a try more often, perhaps humans would not find such fault with things even slightly different from them. ♥

Although it is not a flaw limited purely to humanity, they often tend to be the most prominent offender. There is no such thing as a 'perfect existance'.

I think if such a thing existed, life wouldn't be quite as interesting.
