I have to admit that this was, despite my hopes in many ways a RTD Finale. A brilliant set up, a wrap up that doesn't make a great deal of sense, a twist that will need some explaining, and a bit of self-indulgence. At least this time we got some nice character moments as well.

I have decided the Martha scene was far, far in the future. Or maybe an alternate universe.

That Martha scene was just bizzare. I think I was actually more pissed about Martha's fate than I was about Donna's.

I haven't read The Writers Tale so I had no idea about RTD wanting to bring back Alonzo but I did love it. Granted i will cheer whenever Russell Tovey turns up in anything so i'm not a good judge there.
