I was waiting for over an hour and had one L.A. weekly available as reading material.
I got to the back and found ridiculous scam apartment rentals,  then the ads for strip clubs start, followed by prostitution ads. The line between the two different types of sex work is being blurred more than ever before.

Spread had a good article relating to this in the last issue. It was saying that in recession times like this the clubs try to push the costs down to get more customers in. But then the respect also goes out the window and costumers who pay less demand things that they would not normally feel that they have a right to demand when costs are higher. Like sex, or touching, or other things.

I agree that the dancers should not let themselves earn less money for dances. And clubs should not ask dancers to charge less. It is totally disrespectful all the way around. And club fees? Jeezus. Are they going to start charging waitresses for the "privilege" of waiting tables at an eating establishment next? I think they do it because they think they can get away with it. So far they have been right.
