I would be interested to know where this is coming from. Your post reads as if it could have been directed towards me and my work. Is it?

I can be reached at lauri@laurishaw.com -- I encourage you to email me if there's anything you'd like to discuss.

Have a beautiful day,

Lauri Shaw

Hi Laurie,

I don't know you and I don't know if I'm familiar with your work.
This was not directed at anyone in the blogosphere specifically. I work in film.
If it did hit a nerve and you would like to discuss, I'd be happy to with you.

gracefully,

visited your site, haven't read your work. Good luck with it.
The blogs I've read by other strippers are ones I appreciate (panther in 5150, hobo, davka, sloth, tinsel, etc). I haven't come across any I didn't like.
This journal was part of my healing process, letting go of the PTSD I experienced from stripping.
This journal entry is my opinion for those who choose to write about a profession I was a part of.

I do find it interesting that you thought this was directed at you. Interesting as in, we find / hear / see what we need to sometimes.
Perhaps to strengthen your position, perhaps to change it? I don't know, but, I do find it interesting.

good luck.
