I don't know if you've read either of these, but my two favorite books right now are The Man Who Was Thursday by GK Chesterton and Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto. Thursday is 19th century detective story/comedy/anarchy/religion/crazy. Kitchen is simple and pretty and obsessed with death and really good. Yeah.

Those both sound awesome. i haven't read a lot of books that most people seem to have read, so I figured this summer would be good to read good books.
